Today we depart from either, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane International Airport on either a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday to fly to beautiful and Historical Norfolk Island.

Upon arrival one of the experienced and hospitable staff from Pinetree Tours will meet you at Norfolk Island Airport and Transfer you to The Governor’s Lodge Resort, Norfolk Islands newest 4.5 Star Resort, where at reception we will have a refreshing cocktail waiting for you on arrival. With time to unpack and settle in, you will then be treated to dinner at one of the superb restaurants.

9.00am Pinetrees half day orientation tour is a must for every visitor! Visit historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge & much more. See & hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches & golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, our Government, our laws & lifestyle. Enjoy views from scenic spots on this full commentary conducted tour. Rest for a delicious morning or afternoon tea in the garden of an historic island home built by Fletcher Quintal - descendant of 'Bounty' mutineers Fletcher Christian & Matthew Quintal.

1.00 pm Convict Settlement Tour
Join us on an 'In Depth' tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston.
Walk through the cemetery & hear the history of interesting convict & colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. Afternoon tea included.

5:45pm Seaworld 2 Course Dinner
Enjoy a delicious 2 Course Table De Hote dinner at one of the islands leading Restaurants.

7:30pm Mutineers bring the story of the famed "Mutiny on the Bounty" and historic events to life in one and a half-hour show performed in an outdoor amphitheater on Norfolk's western coastline.



7:00am Breakfast Bush Walk
Take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. At the end of the walks we meet on the clifftop for a delicious breakfast barbecue.
(We do not recommend this walk to anyone with medical conditions).
Those who do not wish to do the walk will have arrangements made to meet the group for breakfast.

1:00pm Island Culture Tour
Experience the culture of our forebears! From our mutineer ancestors & their Tahitian wives came the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking & our Norfolk Language. On this tour see a woodturning demonstration using Norfolk timber, visit an Island home where you'll learn about our cooking. An Island weaving demonstration & a presentation
on the Norfolk language will follow the afternoon tea break.

5:45pm Dinner at Seaworld a renowned local Restaurant

7:15pm Wonderland By Night
The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest.
Meander along (or ride in the‘moon buggy’) a gentle winding path
with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites
his poems and lights up the dioramas.
Afterwards enjoy a light supper.


9.00am Behind The Hedges Tour
This tour takes you to some of the most beautiful gardens on the Island. Marvel at the beauty of Plun Park - a private garden and hobby farm in Watermill Valley. Visit Tau Gardens - an award winning garden featured on the popular TV Show "Gardening Australia" travel to Anson Bay area to visit a small private hobby farm which has been instrumental in improving our local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk's major pottery and browse at the cottage pottery shop. Morning tea & rest stop at a scenic spot alon the way.

5.00pm Island Fish Fry
Enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Watch the sun set from Puppys Point on Norfolk's beautiful western coastline & enjoy some local entertainment.

7.00pm Sound and light Show
Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the convict settlement. The stillness and the stars are just as they were before mankind arrived in 1788. However, with the dramatic use of real life sound together with theatrical lighting and constumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours takes you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island's convict era.


9:00 am Greenfingers Tour
A tour featuring some of the Islands most lovely gardens. Throughout the morning we visit nursery owned & operated by a young Norfolk Islander, a private fruit & vegetable market garden as well as visit a gorgeous private garden with a spectacular view of Kingston & Nepean & Philip Islands. Our local historian will give a talk on this area with a history dating to 1788. Morning tea is served in a scenic location.

5:45pm Night as a Convict
A fun night for all ages, dress as a convict and join with the commandant for an evening of feasting and singing. Great food, great fun, (outfit supplied). This is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.

1:00pm Tin-A-Ali Tour
A photographers delight. Enjoy spectacular scenery & view Norfolks most eye catching & beautiful places on this three & half hour tour. Afternoon tea included.

6:30pm Dinner this evening at The Colonial Hotel
